First sketches from my cafe projects. I have already made about 30 sketches but still do not know how I will make from them my final outcome. I guess I will keep sketching and hopefully I will think about use of the illustrations.
Few days ago Kelly showed me a hole puncher. The greatest thing ever. And she also told me what she does with the paper circles. So I tried it today and this is what I've made.
Beautiful idea for cafes' interiors. Something new and very simple. Would like to see it in real and find out how does it make you feel siting in the cube. I wonder if you have any privacy or not - or I mean if you feel like being seen by nobody.
Recently I saw the 3/4 interview with Adela and Pauline. Very interesting projects and ideas. I especially liked the comment about not showing all works graphic designers have made because not all of them are always great. Some jobs you just take to have money or the client turn to be ... hmm different then you expecting. Adela and Pauline created posters for FFF or Prague Green Map.
Few days ago I was lucky to see documentary of american photographer Annie Leibovitz. This woman is a great inspiration for me. Her passion and a way she document her life and lives of people around her. Those people help you believe that if you will work you can do something.
Her ideas were different. African woman in a milk to see the contrast. No one argued with her because everyone believed her.
She was the first who toke a picture of naked pregnant woman which appeared on magazine cover.
